The Windows welcome is disable. For you to see the aesthetic welcome screen only to be greeted with the old Windows XP log-on screen. It was like that in a while ago. Now, one is left wondering what one has done that caused the change.
There is nothing to worry about. It is caused by the 'Client Service For Netware' of your Window XP operating system . What to do are as to take the steps below to remedy the condition.
Step 1: Right click on Network Places and click on Properties.
Step 2: On Connection rightclick it and move on to click Properties.
Step 3: On Connect Properties box click Networking which is among those items on the list.
Step 4: Look for Client Service For Netware and highlight it. Move your cursor to uninstall and click to uninstall it. After click Ok on the box that pops up and your computer will restart with your welcome screen.
Step 5: After that, you can create a user`s account for yourself. Click on Start --> Contol Panel then click User Account on the CPanel.
User Account has the following features:

a. Change an Account
b. Create A New account
c. Change The Way Users Log on or off
Or Pick an account To Change...
Beneath are two other features :
a. Administrator
b. Guest(Usually set to off)
Then click on Change An Account:
a. Use Welcome Screen. Tick this one.
b. Use Fast User Switching. Tick this one if you created more than one user`s account. To end the process, click Apply Option.
NB: If your Welcome Screen didn`t work after above procedures, it may be there`re Viruses/Marwares in your system which possibly corrupt some files. You can run your virus/registry, etc scan to restore your Welcome Screen back to life.
