In an attempt to make use of your Skype Video for calls, after logging into Messaging, is generating the usual Windows error. The information displayed on the dialog is ''Oops! Skype is currently unavailable. Please try again later. If you're still having problems, find a solution using the code error: [0x8007005]" ,with 'Retry' and 'Exit' option buttons below it to the right-hand corner.

The cause of this issue is related to Skype Video application failing to communicate or connect to the internet thereby making it impossible to proceed further with the process.
Using Google or Bing search to look for means in finding solutions provides limited options and the problem remained unsolved.

STEP 1: Click on 'Start' button and select 'Settings' to continue.

STEP 2: Double-click on 'Privacy' item on 'Settings' to open it.

STEP 3: At the 'Privacy' dialog click on 'Call history' and switch the 'Let apps access my call history' and 'Messaging + Skype' buttons on.
