(a) Doing a Registry cleaning
Step 1: Download effective registry cleaner online. I usually recommend ccleaner for its effectiveness and ease of use.You can download it from here.

Step 3: At ccleaner window, select 'Registry' by the left-hand side and click 'Scan for Issues' tab at the bottom middle.

Step 4: Click on 'Fix selected issues...' and click 'No' at 'Do you want to backup changes to registry'.

Step 5: Click 'Fix issue' and 'Close' to finish the process.

Step 6: Repeat the same ccleaner process until nothing is left on the window to fix.

Step 1: Click 'Start' , type or copy and paste cleanmgr into 'Run' and click 'OK' to continue.

Step 2. Select the '(C:)' drive and click 'Ok' to continue.

Step 3: Tick 'Downloaded Programs, Temporary Internet Files, Temporary Files, and Thumbnails, necessary boxes, click 'Ok' and click delete to free space in your hard disk - if you are not having enough disk space this one is recommendable.
