Security Issue In Google Chrome (Broken HTTPS Error) In Windows

Recently, a security problem has become a common thing with Chrome browser. Most especially, with people using old Windows Operating System like Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1  and at times with those using Windows 10. If you are using unsupported Windows OS like XP with possible vulnerabilities it is time to start upgrading to any of those receiving updates and patches from Microsoft.  Above all, I recommend upgrading to Windows 10 for better experiences.

There are many causes of this security issue and the most prevalent ones are wrong date and time followed by expired trusted certificates(from the server authentication to trusted publishers). Simply clearing the cache or resetting Google Chrome may fix it. When it is a revocation of certificates you can add the sites you are getting the error message to 'Trusted sites' under 'Security' at the 'Internet Properties' dialog or update the certificates which require tentative procedure. In  rare situation doing those would be a waste of time. It is advisable to uninstall the old Chrome browser and install the latest. That is the best practical way in solving the problem.
