System Crash With 'Event 41, Kernel-Power' At Event Viewer In Windows 10

Windows operating system encounters BSOD due to failure in hardware or software. It could be caused by malfunction of RAM(Random Access Memory), bad hard disk drive or other parts of the computer having trouble. In most cases you would need to replace them when they can not be repaired. When system crashed as a result of incompatible installed drivers, applications and updates troubleshooting the cause and finding solution become necessary steps to take and can be done without replacing any part of the system hardware. First thing to do is to find the culprit of the crash by opening the Event Viewer and analyzing the logs.

The Event Viewer keeps logs of activity of your system right from booting to shutting down. The error logs are properly explained in a concise tabular form. To go about it you will have to type Event Viewer into Cortana search and click on it from the search result. Look for the 'Windows log' and double-click on it to reveal sub-items and one of them is 'System'. By double-clicking  on it  expands the logs of   activities that took place during the cause of  the problem. It can be narrowed down by using time stamp the error emanated from.

System crash with Event 41, Kernel-Power may carry information on why the system shutdown after BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death). The idea behind that error is explain and to fix it you would have to follow the step-by-step information below.

STEP 1: Press Windows Key + R to open 'Run'.

STEP 2: Type or copy and paste  devmgmt.msc  into 'Run' dialog and click on 'Ok' to continue.

STEP 3: Double-click on 'Sound, video and game controllers' to expand it.

STEP 4: Right-click on one of the two audio drivers and select 'Disable' from the drop-down menu. In this case choose not to disable the Audio driver for your system.For example Intel(R)Display Audio is not the default audio for my system in the image.

STEP 5: Restart your system for changes to take effect. It is not necessary to do so but expedient for better practice.
