The Acer Aspire S7 391 serie of ultrabooks is definitely one of the sleekest out there in its category. It might not be the very best ultrabook but it is considered one with a very elegant built out there in the market and with some edge that would make you want to consider having it.
Most people who buy the product usually want to upgrade some of the hardware to meet their routine requirements, and it is very limited in that regard. The Random Access Memory(RAM) in the first place cannot be upgraded. It is soldered to the motherboard(mobo), there is no slot provided for external RAM and it is 4 GB maximum allocated. The Solid State Drive(SSD) comes with 125 GB storage capacity that can be upgraded to 256 GB when you can get your hand on the one that is compatible. 256 GB is the maximum capacity allowed on the system. That is a good size for your documents, few videos and other large files. If you have so much to save to your Hard Drive(HD), it is advisable to get external storage large enough to meet that need.
However, when you are ready to upgrade the SSD that can be purchased from online stores, follow the instruction below. The specification is as followed:
1) LITE-ON IT CORPORATION
2) Model: CMT-256L3M
3) 256 GB(Gigabytes)
4) FW: L3C6
5) Power: 3.3V 1.5A
Please, make sure you buy the one with good guarantee.
NOTE: Do not do anything beyond what is on this guide and do not touch or replace any other parts in the casing, if you don't know anything about system hardware.

STEP 1: Get the right set of Torx screwdrivers ready.
STEP 2: Open all the surrounding Torx screws first and carefully watch out for their sizes. Make sure the one at the middle(close to the vent) is kept separate from the others not to mix them up. It is usually the longer screw.
STEP 3: Remove the back cover gently.
STEP 4: Unscrew the screw holding the 128 GB Solid State Drive(SSD) to the system, it is boldly inscribed LITE-ON IT CORPORATION with other information on the white label on the surface.
STEP 5: Replace it with the 256 GB SSD that you bought.
STEP 6: Replace the back-cover and couple it accordingly. The longer Torx screw for the middle(close to the vent area)part should be well screwed. If not the system is not going to come up when powered on.
