'Failed To Create Data Directory' Error In Google Chrome In Windows 8

The problem behind the error message in Google Chrome during the time you try to open the browser is the failure of the application to read and write to its data directory as it is not created during installation or missing from the system all together.

It prevents you from opening Google Chrome browser for use and you will see the error message dialog at the point when you try to run the program. Selecting 'Use another directory' makes the dialog to disappear and will leave you to your desktop environment. When you click on it again it will repeat the same error process, only to your utmost surprise there is no virus in your system spotted lately.

This problem is solvable by addressing it from the best practical way. That is to uninstall Google Chrome,(if you are using the old version), download the new version and install it. This bug is fixed in the new Google Chrome version as I didn't experience the error after installation.

In the case you are still experiencing the error after downloading new Google Chrome version this step-by-step information will be helpful to you on resolving the problem.
