Server Execution Failed Problem In Windows

This problem comes in different faces, it could come up in Internet Explorer(IE), VLC, as well as Windows Media Player(WMP) as an error. It is most common with the media player as well as Internet Explorer in most cases. During the experience of the failure Windows is prevented from proceeding further to carry out its functions, either crashing the media player or the Internet Explorer. In many instances it restarts the system to continue afresh.

Most complains tied to this issue have not received permanent solutions, there is no particular permanent solution found since it has been reported among online community users. However, the disturbing causes of the error are coming from a script that failed to execute the action meant for it in other to carry out some functions. It could be it is corrupted or there is problem with the registry of that specific file.

This can be done away with once and for all by following the steps below. 


Step 1:  Start the computer and immediately press F8 at boot. To enter Safe mode in Windows 8 visit this LINK.

Step 2:  Select 'Safe mode' at the options screen and press ENTER key.

Step 3:  At Windows screen, silmutaneously press the Windows and R keys.

Step 4:  At 'Run' dialogue type  %windir%\$ntUninstallwmp11$\spuninst\spuninst.exe and click 'OK'.

Step 5:  Click this LINK on how to uninstall and re-install Windows Media Player(for those using Windows 7 or 8).

Step 6:  From the screen that comes up click 'Next'.

Step 7:  At the end click 'Finish' and restart the system.

Step 8:  Download cclenear , run it and clean your registry.

Step 9:  For those using Windows XP and Vista download the latest Windows Media Player from Microsoft website.

Step 10:  Double-click on the Windows Media Player installer and follow onscreen instruction to install it.
